thoughts while fleshing out the site
css is a tough cookie. reorganized a bit and added new section for things I want to write about. need to get a bare-bones blog layout - would tweaking zonelets be feasible for a complete html/css newbie?
working my way through the html beginner tutorial while being connected to a 1-bar-of-signal wifi (in not the best of circumstances...). but feeling happy to flesh out the site a bit more! well - the truth is that i did the entirety of a few freecodecamp demos a while back and retained none of the knowledge; i think working on a personal project will be a change of pace and help me stick with it (hopefully). to do list - a form as a guestbook?
i am always a bit too ambitious for my own sake. i want to learn html, css, japanese. i want to do this, i want to do that. and i get discouraged when something doesn't go according to plan (not an actual plan, just the vision of the outcome i had in my mind). i am really trying to change that this time around. if it doesn't work out, i can say "at least i tried" and not feel a devastating amount of regret with the amount of time passed with nothing happening.
